Terms of service

These terms apply when you use snsactivate.com, the console and the API. By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

SNSActivate sells one-time activation numbers. Each activation is one phone number for one app in one country, with a 20 minute window to receive SMS codes. Prices are fixed per app and country and shown before you buy.

Account

Your account is one access token made in your browser at signup. We store only a protected form of it. Keep it safe: anyone with the token can use the account, and a lost token cannot be recovered.

Credit

• You pay for numbers from prepaid credit. Credit is added through the checkout in the console.
• Credit is not paid out and has no cash value outside the service.
• Refunds for activations without a code go back to credit, as described in the refund policy.

Acceptable use

Use numbers only for lawful signups and checks. Do not use them for fraud, spam, harassment, or to break the terms of the app you verify. We may close accounts that do.

Limits

Up to 20 open activations per account, and 300 API requests per minute per key. Numbers come from mobile networks, and an app may decide not to send a code; in that case the refund rules apply.

Changes

We may update prices, the list of apps and countries, and these terms. Changes apply from the date shown on this page; activations already bought keep their price.
